The best part of politics: because they're all screwing us anyway.

Oh, the irony

The delicious irony.

From the right-wing AgapePress by way of Pam's House Blend (emphasis mine):

Staton believes CAP leaders have an ulterior motive for ignoring the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in the military. "You almost would think that Civil Air Patrol's allowance of homosexuals and other deviants in these programs is almost a back-door way to root away at Don't Ask, Don't Tell," he suggests -- adding that such undermining of the policy could possibly lead to openly homosexual individuals serving in the armed forces."

The military shouldn't be too picky about who they let join their "Club."

Not too many people are interested in fighting for Halliburton's profits or Bush's oil any more.

After all, if Bush could be "queer for oil" when he was holding hands with the Saudi prince, why should he have a problem with a few gay dudes fighting for him?

Something tells me that I would've guessed that the emphasis was yours, even if you hadn't said so.

I sent the link to Wonkette, too, since the "back-door" thing is really her thing--and the last time I sent her such a link, back during the campaign when Edwards was talking about a "back-door draft," she posted it--but apparently it doesn't amuse her anymore. I suppose she's passed the torch on to me as the arbiter of dirty political jokes...either that or she's just too busy to care. Grrrr.

Is Cox even back doing Wonkette herself? Last I heard the due date on the book had been pushed back...

Hmm...I thought so too, but the posts don't have any guest name signatures like they used to, so I figured it must be the real Wonkette. In any case, the email address for tips is still the same, so whoever is over there reading it should've taken my suggestions, but ah well....

People still believe that oil and Haliburton stuff?

  • At 2:18 AM, Blogger Boinkette said…

Well, oil and Halliburton are only part of the story...the rest of the story is delusional ideology.

Don't forget Bush killed the pope, too!

    Sorry about the double post.
    Also, I am not deleusional.
The large, grey rabbit told me so.

Maybe that was the same large gray rabbit that told Bush to invade Iraq! That would explain a few things...

And it probably hid a bunch of Easter eggs and then told Bush they were WMD, too.
